SwedenJam Live 2019 is a unique musical experience: a group of musicians inspired by Swedenborg’s message of love for everyone and brought together by the Swedenborg Foundation’s offTheLeftEye YouTube channel. Come on out and share music, food, and good company with Swedenborg fans from around the region.
This is a FREE event! But space is limited, so please register so that we know to save a seat for you.
Reade McCardell. Reade’s musical journey has encompassed everything from movie scores to pop covers to his own original singer-songwriter compositions, including his all-original album, Frets. He has been writing video scores for offTheLeftEye since the early days of the channel, including the show’s main title theme. You can learn more about him and his latest projects at http://www.reademccardell.com/
Edwin Herder and Friends. Perhaps best known for his work in the Beach Boys-inspired Fendertones, Edwin Herder has supported countless musicians in developing their skills. He lent his musical talents to some behind-the-scenes production for the music in “You Are the Lungs,” one of offTheLeftEye’s most-watched and most iconic videos. For this concert, Edwin has brought along a group of local musicians for a divinely inspired performance. Check out some of his music videos at Youtube.com/edwinherder
Jonathan Rose and Curtis Childs. Fans of offTheLeftEye know the two co-hosts of our hit webcast Swedenborg & Life very well, but today they’re showing off their musical chops.
Jonathan Rose has been composing and performing music for most of his life, including a 2016 contemporary gospel album, Clear Shining after Rain. For this performance he’ll be bringing along some friends to help with his performance, including classically trained singer Alanna Rose and the Swedenborg Foundation’s own admin, gospel singer Regina Lee.
Curtis Childs has also been doing musical performances for most of his life; we’ll be treated to a special performance by him as well as a surprise ending to the show.
