Description

In this first edition of the Chrysalis Reader, the quarterly journal Chrysalis is converted into a collection of personal recollections, poetry, essays, short fiction, and art, each reflecting the theme of a particular issue.

Gold from Asprin presents the role of chaos in the quest for higher order. The process, often difficult, promises great rewards.

Reviews

“This book shows us thirty remarkable adventure stories: encounters with the abyss of chaos that yield, through personal narratives, a golden thread of that spiritual form of ordering that we call ‘meaning.'”

—Stephen and Robin Larsen, co-authors of A Fire in the Mind: The Life of Joseph Campbell
