In us we have vital energy on the sensory level and vi-
tal energy on the earthly level, both kinds of energy be-
ing located in our outer self. The sensory-level energy is
relatively shallow and draws its truths from objects in the
physical world and in our body, while the earthly-level
energy is deeper and draws its truths from the causes that
bring those objects into being.
