We cannot think anything without some idea taken from
what is knowable by us or perceptible to our senses. What
is more, we do not think properly, even about matters of
faith and love, until we think in terms of corresponding
objects. Corresponding objects are earthly realities,
which act as mirrors reflecting spiritual realities.
