In an ordinary sense, a word is that which the mouth
utters, or speech. Since speech is a thought of the mind
uttered in words, a word symbolizes the matter being
thought about. So in the original language, anything that
actually exists and is something is called a word. In an
exalted sense, a word stands for divine truth, because everything
that actually exists and is something originates
in such truth. All the truth that comes from the Deity is
called a word.
