There are three categories of ideas that disappear from
the Word’s literal meaning when it becomes an inner
meaning: those relating to time, to space, and to an individual.
This is because there is no time or space in the
spiritual world. Both qualities are proper to Nature. The
reason the spiritual world does not focus on anything
limited to individuals is that talk centering on individuals
narrows and limits the mind rather than broadening
it and removing the limitations. Broadening one’s speech
and removing limitations from it makes it universal,
bringing countless ideas within its embrace and enabling
it to express even the inexpressible.
