Another piece of evidence that the Word is like this and
is therefore different from every other piece of literature
has to do with symbolism. Not only do the names have
symbolic meaning but every word also has a spiritual
sense, so that it means something else in heaven than on
earth. This symbolism is utterly consistent in both the
prophetic and the narrative parts. When these names and
words are explained in their heavenly sense, according
to their unchanging symbolism throughout the Word,
what results is the inner meaning, or the Word as it exists
among the angels.
