“Those who have bathed have no need except to have
their feet washed” means that people who have reformed
need only to have their earthly dimension cleaned. In
other words, they need to have evil and falsity removed
from there. The Lord then restructures everything
through an inflow of spiritual qualities. Besides, washing
other people’s feet was a sign of neighborly love, which
said, “I will not meditate on your faults.”
