The reason neatening means preparing and being filled is
that the only thing required of us is to clean house, or
in other words, to reject evil cravings and the distorted
convictions they spawn. When we do, we are filled with
good, because good is constantly flowing in from the
Lord. What it flows into is a house (a person) scoured of
everything that could block it.
