People undergoing this kind of devastation or purging
are reduced even to the point of despair, and when they
reach that stage, they then accept comfort and help from
the Lord. Eventually they are taken from that state to
heaven, where among the angels they essentially relearn
what there is to know about religious goodness and truth.
