Almost one year ago we posted a blog sharing our enthusiasm for this new book project. Now the publishing date, Friday, September 5th, is here, and we are very pleased with how this lovely little book has come out.
To give you a taste of this dynamic, interview-style memoir, here is a brief excerpt (page 80):
ARAM: So, it’s 1988. You’re twenty-nine years old, and you’ve put the guitar on the shelf. You, Helen, Victoria, and Amanda have moved to a 150-year-old house in the countryside outside Harplinge. And it was also at this time you began reading Swedenborg.
TOMMIE: Yes. There was a rumor that the house was haunted. I once saw an old woman walking in the house. A few hundred meters away, there was a count whose caretakers lived there. There was a basement—just a plain cellar with nothing in it. Beside the stairs, there was a fridge and a bottle crate. One evening, when I was sitting, composing, I heard a bang. So, I opened the door, and one of the bottles was upside down, standing on its nose. Strange? Then, when we moved out of the house years later, there was a flood in the basement. When the water was gone, I walked down, and there was a bottle on its nose.
