A weekend of connecting to your inner self.
August 8th-10th, 2025 at the Harmony Mountain House in Phillipsburg, NJ.

Meet Your Facilitators
Chelsea Rose Odhner, Lead Facilitator

I am a licensed massage therapist, an ICF associate certified coach, and IFS Level 1 Practitioner. I love to support people in doing the inner work of transformation. This work involves discovering new horizons within your system and gaining a fresh, generative perspective on your life’s journey. My perspective on healing is a spiritual one. Informed by my study of Emanuel Swedenborg’s insights into the spiritual realm, I understand healing to be an organic spiritual process that is core to our life’s journey. A word he uses for this is “regeneration,” which describes our path to authenticity: aligning our outer selves with our inner selves and helping our parts soften to love.
This path can be intense and by its very nature requires us to awaken to the somatic experience of our embodiment. I believe in the resources available within each of us to guide and bring about our healing. I understand that surrendering to life’s processes allows us to tap into inner resources and embrace our true selves. I invite you to join me in this sacred space of exploration and healing.
For my facilitation, I draw on twenty years of practice and training in yoga, study of Swedenborg, and meditation, as well as three years of practice and training in the Internal Family Systems model.
Johanan Odhner, Support Staff

Johanan is a licensed associate professional counselor. He will be present throughout the weekend as a support presence for participants. As a counselor with a deep commitment to compassionate, affirming care, Johanan brings a grounded, welcoming energy to the retreat space. He is especially skilled at holding space for people navigating inner complexityโwhether thatโs emotional overwhelm, past hurt, identity exploration, or a desire to live more authentically. Johananโs presence offers an added layer of emotional support for anyone who may need to process whatโs coming up during the weekend. He is dedicated to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment where all experiences are honored.

FAQs Section
Here are responses to a number of questions. If you have a question that is not addressed here, please email chelsea.odhner@swedenborg.com.
Do I need prior knowledge of IFS or Swedenborg?
No! If you are new to both, I assume you have an interest in learning about them. Come with a beginner’s mind. Exercises and meditations do not require previous study of either. Each participant can engage at their own level.
Can I come alone?
Yes. There are limited private room accommodations which will be filled in order of registration until full. Beyond that there are the camping and commuter options. If you are coming alone and are open to shared accommodations, please indicate that as a note on the Google Form and we will coordinate sleeping arrangements.
What will the food be like?
All meals will be provided by the hosts of the Harmony Mountain House. All of their food is plant-based. Meals will include two continental breakfasts, two lunches, and two dinners.
What if I have dietary restrictions?
Please list all of your dietary restrictions in the designated place in the Google Form. We will do our best to accommodate and we will be in touch if we have any questions.
Are there scholarships or sliding scale options?
The Swedenborg Foundation maintains an Angel Fund to support people in attending events and offerings if cost is an issue. Please contact Tim Bilger at tim.bilger@swedenborg.com to inquire.
Do I need to sign a waiver?
Yes. There are two! One you will sign for the Harmony Mountain House as part of your completion of the Google form, and the other will be for participation in a Swedenborg Foundation event which will be emailed to you ahead of the retreat.
What do I need to pack?
You will be sent a suggested packing list a week before the retreat.
โIโm so looking forward to gathering with you in sacred space!โ
