Originally printed as a membership gift book in 2018, this updated version of the very popular title features a new chapter called “The Words We Use.” It features new passages from Swedenborg and questions for reflection on communication, specifically focusing on how the things we say can reflect either the love of heaven or the harm of hell.
We were compelled to publish a new print run of this title because the personal, ideological, racial, religious, and ethnic divisions in society have continued to challenge relationships in the years since it was originally offered, as was reflected in how many requests we’ve received for more copies since going out of stock.
The benefit of this short modern work is that it contains a series of passages on division and conflict from the original writings of Emanuel Swedenborg. Each passage is accompanied by a summary of key points and questions, written by Swedenborg Foundation publisher Morgan Beard, offering the opportunity for spiritual introspection and growth.
