OffTheLeftEye Channel Hits 90,000 Subscribers

In mid February, our offTheLeftEye YouTube channel passed the 90,000-subscriber milestone!

This inspiring achievement is a testament to two things: the ability of Swedenborg’s message to bring real change to the lives of all kinds of people all around the world, and the skilled, dedicated, and tireless work of the members of the offTheLeftEye team who have given their whole hearts and minds to this mission. Thank you so much to everyone who subscribes, everyone who watches, and everyone who takes these ideas and uses them for good in the world. We’re so thrilled to be partnering with you!

It was July 2019, when our video โ€œWhat Happens Immediately after You Dieโ€ went viral, racking up 70,000 views and close to a million minutes in watch time in just two weeks, leading to a bump in new subscribers that put us over the 75,000-subscriber milestone. The video was the first episode in the summer season of our hit webcast Swedenborg & Life. Now, less than a year later, we’re closer to reaching 100,000 subscribers with Swedenborg’s spiritual message of divine love.

If you havenโ€™t had a chance to check out our current season, now is the perfect time to get caught up. The first episode of the season, โ€œWhat Does It Feel Like to Die?” (January 6), explores Swedenborg’s firsthand account of what it was like to be brought through the dying process while still alive, while the following episodes, โ€œWill Your Body Look the Same When You Die?โ€ (January 27) and โ€œWill Life Be Different When You Die?โ€ (February 17), continue to explore the afterlife and what life is like there. The final episode of the season, โ€œWhat Happens to Your Mind When You Die?โ€ will air March 9.

In between these episodes, we’ve been examining the meaning of some famous biblical stories and passages during Swedenborg & Life Live and answering viewer questions on our panel show Good Question! These two shows rotate with Swedenborg & Life in our Monday night time slot at 8 p.m. Eastern U.S. time.ย

If you struggle with the meaning of some of Swedenborgโ€™s writings, host Curtis Childs gives you a hand in News from Heaven, a twice-weekly webcast where Curtis goes through a short passage from Swedenborgโ€™s works and explains not only what he was talking about, but what it means for us in our lives. Original episodes are posted on Thursdays at 12:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 11 a.m.

Thanks to all of the viewers, subscribers, donors, and community members who help to make everything we do possible! If youโ€™d like to contribute to help us reach 100,000 subscribers, you can donate via our Causevox page and pick the option thatโ€™s right for you!
