Everyone is welcome at our annual meeting, which will be held on Friday, April 28, 2017 at Pendleton Hall on the campus of Bryn Athyn College, Bryn Athyn, PA.
At the business meeting, starting at 6:30 p.m., we’ll talk about what we did as an organization in 2016, the current status of our major programs, and our finances, as well as electing a new slate of directors for a four-year term. Although only members can vote at the meeting, anyone who is interested is welcome to attend.
At 7:30, following the business meeting, Dr. Jane Williams-Hogan will give a preview of the upcoming Swedenborg and the Arts International Conference. Her talk approaches the subject from two angles: First, how did Swedenborg influence so many different types of art—including painting, sculpture, literature, architecture, music, and film—and second, why and how are the arts such an important avenue of influence?
The meeting will wrap up with a reception featuring light snacks and good company.
