In this 88-page quick read, author Gary Lachman provides an accessible overview of the many fascinating ways Emanuel Swedenborg’s system of correspondences influenced philosophical movements and influential figures over the past 250 years.

Instrumental in the rise of Romanticism, Symbolism and Modernism, and cited as key to the work of Goethe, R.W. Emerson, Honoré de Balzac, Charles Baudelaire, Wassily Kandinsky and Arnold Schoenberg, to name but a few, Swedenborg’s system of correspondences offers to poets, artists, writers and composers a blueprint for navigating the gap between the material world and non-material values.

Introducing Swedenborg: Correspondences is available in hardcover ($11.95) and also as a downloadable Kindle e-book ($1.99) and EPub ($1.99).
